Suctions and returns control how and where water is removed from the pool and subsequently returned to the pool after treatment and heating from the pool plant room. The right fittings are critical in providing the correct flow rates for your pool to maintain the health and safety of the pool water.

    Swimming pool drains (also known as a sump) are usually mounted in the base of a pool and must be fitted in T'd pairs which are at least 2metres apart to prevent any chance of entrapment. They are responsible for removing large volumes of water for cleaning and treatment back in the pool plant room.

    Pool inlets return the treated and heated water back into the pool, the sizing and placement of these fittings help circulate the water sufficiently enough to prevent dead spots.

    Suctions (like drains) are responsible for removing large volumes of water for cleaning and treatment back in the pool plant room. Certain suctions such Vacuum points can have addition equipment (hoses) fitted so a user can vacuum up any debris on the pool floor.
  • Skimmers

    Skimmers

    Skimmers are responsible for removing surface water for cleaning and treatment back in the pool plant room. This helps remove any surface films or floating debris. Skimmers usually contain a strainer basket for keeping larger debris from making its way back to the plantroom.
